The Pajama Game.

We will be starting rehearsals for the spring show on Wed 10^th January 2007.

It has been very difficult to get things underway – and I wanted to explain why?

Firstly it is difficult to find a suitable show we could cast with our current membership. We need to have enough people turn up to audition to be able to cast the show.

Also there is the problem of scenery. Like us, the Little Theatre are suffering from lack of people who can help. We will need lots of help for back stage etc.

If we do not get this show up and running then it is a serious problem and we will need to call an EGM to discuss the future of the Society.

We need as many people as possible to turn up  on 10^th January. Lets get this show on the road….

Knutsford Little Theatre

Great Success

Show was well received. Good audiences all week and fast moving entertainment. It required hard work and effort from all involved on stage and off. A great piano performance from Tom Baston added to the show. 

FUNDRAISING

During Show week we held a raffle for the prize of a family trip to Hawkstone Park to see Father Christmas. The prize was won by Mrs Janet Bennett. She will be taking her family to the Park on 22^nd December  - VIP treatment to see Father Christmas. Well done.

Hawkstone Park also donated another prize. We want to auction off and get the best price we can.

 Two Complimentary Green Fees for the Championship Course. (players must have a club handicap)

50 YEAR MEDAL FOR RON

At the Annual Dinner Dance, Ron McCormick was presented with his 50 year NODA medal by Society president Ken Webb. Taken totally by surprise, Ron was speechless. We were delighted to show our appreciation for all the hard work Ron has put into Amateur Theatre over the years.

Patter of feet…

To announce that Jo and Steve Prescott have become grandparents. Their daughter Tracey and her husband Lee have a baby daughter. Sophie Jane was born on 20^th Nov, 6lb 7oz. Congratulations.
